Once again capitalizing on my work history with Toyota, I was afforded the opportunity to emcee their day-long celebration thanking the community, government officials, and business partners in Texas for their warm welcome, as Toyota began the move of their national headquarters to The Lone Star State. The event was a rollicking neighborhood block party – surrounding a beautiful lake in Plano – with great food, live music, fireworks, and more. Speakers included TX Governor Rick Perry, Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere, and Toyota CEO Jim Lentz; and there were performances on the main stage – from which I hosted the event on a lake-wide “god mic” – by Curtis Grimes, Lone Star Attitude, and Jack Ingram. It was quite the day and a job of which I’m quite proud!
